About Me
Geri Lipschultz is someone who has dedicated her life to the written word. She has published more than seventy stories, poems, essays, book reviews and articles, in such venues as the New York Times and College English and Black Warrior Review. Last year, Geri published her debut novel, Grace Before the Fall, with a Foreword by John Irving. She also published a book of children’s poems, titled Did You Kiss a Cat Today??? with two other poets. She performed in her one-woman show in NYC’s New Federal Theatre, produced by Woodie King, Jr. She has an MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and a doctorate from Ohio University. For more than forty years, she has taught writing and literature in colleges, public schools, and in art camps throughout the metropolitan area. She was raised in a small town in New Jersey and currently lives with a large, intractable dog in a cabin in the lower Adirondacks.
